The Fitzrovia Photography Prize
Diemar/Noble Photography presents:
'The Fitzrovia Photography Prize', Sponsored by John Lewis Oxford Street
Competition theme: 'Within A Mile'
This year Diemar/Noble Photography, London is pleased to announce The Fitzrovia Photography Prize sponsored by John Lewis, Oxford Street.
Fitzrovia has a long history of being a bohemian area attracting artists & artisans such as Walter Sickert, Dylan Thomas and Nina Hamnett. Today this tradition prevails as the area boasts many galleries and a vibrant community housing nationalities from all over the globe. We would like to celebrate this wealth through photography.
Prize theme: ‘Within a Mile’.
The radius of this mile is demonstrated on the map above. All photographs must be taken within a mile from the premises of Diemar/Noble Photography (map ref: H8). The location for each image is to be specified by a map reference and this will subsequently be used as the title of the work if selected for the exhibition.
As part of the final exhibition each photograph location will be placed upon a map as a number. The map will available for visitors to the gallery or can be downloaded from the gallery website during the run of the exhibition to use as a guide to the local area.
