London's foremost local art fair 'Art in Marylebone'
London’s foremost local art fair ‘Art in Marylebone’, 16 – 19 June
The annual Art in Marylebone (AiM) exhibition is set to return for its fifth year this June, and will feature a wide and varied range of exhibits by local artists.
AiM is already recognised as one of the most respected 'local' London art exhibitions and is a popular event to view and buy original and affordable quality art. The local art fair is organised by residents of the area, with all of the participating artists living or working within Marylebone.
This year's exhibition will again be held in the prestigious gallery halls of the American InterContinental University London, 110 Marylebone High Street, London W1U 4RY. The exhibition will be open to the capital’s public from 16-19th June 2011.
Organizer and local artist Tony Frazer-Price says: “The ever-growing popularity of the AiM fair is based on the opportunity for a wide, discerning and appreciative audience of Marylebone residents and wider visitors to see and purchase the work of artists living or working in the local area.”
The appeal of AiM is further enhanced by the accompanying photography competition “A Day in the Life of Marylebone”. Fifty of the best photographs will be displayed, giving an insightful view of life in Marylebone. A commemorative book will also be published including all selected images, entitled ‘A Day In the Life of Marylebone’ - St George’s Day- April 23rd.
