John Lewis & Getty Images Gallery partner to bring iconic art collection to the high street.

To mark the launch of John Lewis’ new partnership with the Getty Images Gallery, members of the public are invited to attend a week’s free exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery in London from the 3rd – 8th September 2011.

Date: 3rd – 8th September 2011

Time: 10.00 am – 5.30 pm

Cost: FREE

Dressed exclusively with the John Lewis collection, some 60 chic black and white and colour images will be on display, featuring iconic faces from film, music and sport in all their vintage glory. Scenes include the classic James Bond film Thunderball; the moment Michael Caine and Bobby Moore share a football before the charity premiere of Escape to Victory; as well as Audrey Hepburn’s famous promotional portrait for Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Around twenty of the images will be available in John Lewis stores, with the remainder available online. Prices will start from £150.
