The facts:
Having studied and worked in Economics. It wasn’t until in 1973 that Sebastiao Salgado began his photographic career. He was part of the Magnum photo agency until 1994 until he and his wife created the Amazonas photography agency. Sebastiao Salgado has travelled to over one hundred countries and documented his work thought press publications and books.
Salgado is most noted for his work on Latin America, Africa and India whilst his exhibition work continues to tour the world.
