Experience Seminars: The Canon digital EOS system
Experience Seminars: The UK’s number 1 training company on the Canon digital EOS system.
Winter Open day Tuesday 23rd November 2010
We run regular open days at our training centre near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire for Canon EOS photographers. Our next event is in November and is an ideal time to get your camera sensor cleaned after the busy summer months. We are also taking an in-depth look at wildlife and close up and macro shooting, as these are both photographic activities that can be shot all year round. Registration on the day will start at 9.30 and the day will close at 5pm.
Events on the day include:
• Free sensor cleaning (1 camera per person attending)
• 3 mini seminars running during the day (about 1 to 1.5 hour each)
• Free technical support desks staffed by our lecturers
• A partner dealer with their accessory shop in attendance on the day
• Canon equipment available to view on the day
• Lunch and refreshments provided
Our November event is themed around close up and macro photography as these can both be carried out throughout the winter months. Our mini seminars for the day are as follows:
Seminar 1 - A essential guide to close up and macro photography
A presentation by Ian, looking at the key factors that affect close up and macro photography and how you can get superb images even with the most basic of equipment. However, by investing in specific equipment including flash a whole new world of photography can open up for you. We will look at specific macro lenses and the use of macro flash including the Canon's wireless system.
Seminar 2 - An essential guide to shooting captive wildlife
Presented by Nina, we look at how to get the very best images of animals that are in zoos and wildlife collections. Some locations, where we hold our practical events, enable you to get up close and personal with the animals, whereas more traditional zoos keep you further away. We look at the different techniques required to produce the very best images in all captive locations.
Seminars 3 - The essential safari guide
A presentation by Brian who will be freshly back from the Masai Mara, to tell you all the things that you need to know about safari photography. Not only will we look at camera techniques, but we will also look at how best to deal with the climatic conditions and elements that you find in these remote locations.
