Full metal palette with metallurgy4.com

Example

A Leeds based company known for its innovations in the field of digital printing has launched a range of exciting new products under the brand metallurgy®.

Andrew Ainge, the founder of the Metallurgy4.com, developed a passion for the metal with his previous company Metal-fx® which he sold to Ciba Chemicals a few years ago. Now, he has pioneered a way of printing fine art directly to a range of metal substrates including, metal mirror plate, flexible metal foils and even a new backlit metal substrate used with light boxes.

Ainge commented, “The results we can obtain on metal far outshine that of conventional prints on paper substrates. With our new range of finishes, we can even simulate spot varnish techniques with no minimum order. Our starting point is mirror metal plate but we now print onto a range of other metal based products including a flexible foil. Our latest innovation is a specially designed metal film for use with light boxes. During the day it shines metallic and at night it can be backlit.”

Metallurgy4.com specialise in the printing of fine art reproductions, photography and very high end point of sale materials.”

Often when people hear the word metal or metallic it instantly makes you think expensive. However, the cost is in the same region as a standard Giclee print on paper.
