Blurb Announces Integrated Bookmaking for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4

Blurb

Blurb, a creative publishing and marketing platform, today announced a further collaboration with Adobe Systems, with the integration of bookmaking into the public beta of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 now available. The integration offers a seamless experience by providing the tools directly within Lightroom 4 to create professional-quality photography books, coupled with a direct link to Blurb.com for printing, marketing and distribution.

"We are pleased to offer an elegant photo book creation experience within Lightroom that connects seamlessly with Blurb,” said Tom Hogarty, Lightroom Principal Product Manager at Adobe. “Photo book authoring has been requested by many in the Lightroom community and we are proud to partner with a company who can deliver the quality and customer

Lightroom users will be able to take advantage of Blurb's online marketing tools and sell their books in the Blurb online bookstore, which provides professional photographers with an easy way to market and distribute their books.

“Just as Adobe were getting requests for integrated bookmaking within Lightroom, we were hearing the same requests from the Lightroom users within the Blurb customer base. This deep integration will enable Blurb to further satisfy its existing customers as well as reach many, many thousands of new users worldwide. We could not have found a better partner,” said Eileen Gittins, Founder and CEO of Blurb.

This integration with Lightroom is the second bookmaking solution Blurb has created for Adobe customers, joining the plug-in for Adobe InDesign, which launched in 2011. More information on the partnership and the Lightroom integration can be found by going to: www.blurb.com/lightroom
