January 2012 issue

Jan 2012 Cover Andy Gotts

I suppose if there was a bit of a theme this month, in the office anyway, it would be ‘new’. A New Year’s issue, a few new features, a new plan for 2012 up my sleeve and, most importantly, some new staff members on the Professional Photographer and Photography Monthly teams. I personally am so pleased that we are now up to full strength, and warmly welcome Kathrine Anker as our new Features Editor.

The issue itself - which does have a bit of a black & white theme - is another great mix of stunning imagery, informed and interesting comment, essential advice to help you run your business more effectively and the latest gear in the form of the Sony A77 and some 50mm lenses. Martin Middlebrook talks to us again from the Afghan desert, we have a guest columnist in the form of Gray Levett, from Grays of Westminster, and a new regular feature from commercial ‘tog, Matt Henry. So loads then!
