Local North West Photographer Scoops Major Award at the 2012 Master Photography Awards
Cheshire based photographer Greg Daly of Ashford Daly Photography has won a top prize in a major national photography awards ceremony.
Greg won the Fuji Licentiate Award category in the 2012 Master Photography Awards. He battled tough competition to scoop his prize, with other leading photographers from across Great Britain all striving for recognition in the 2012 Master Photographer of the Year Awards.
Greg's achievement is even more special as it happened this year - 2012 is a diamond year for the MPA as they celebrate their 60th Anniversary.
Hundreds of professional photographers from around the world were joined by representatives from the major photographic companies at the glittering Awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle.
Not only is Greg the winner of the globally recognised Fuji Award, with this black and white documentary wedding image, he has also achieved two Awards of Excellence for further photographs, in the Press and PR, and Landscape and Travel categories, as well as another Merit prize with a Fine Art and Pictorial Image.
Greg is Chief Photographer with Ashford Daly Photography.
