Sony urge us to 'capture the moment' for competition

Sony my moments 2012

Sony has been broadening its horizons by announcing a new Twitter competition called #mymoment2012 to find the most treasured moment captured in a photograph

Building on the success of Sony Digital Network Applications (SDNA)’s million moments app, the competition requires consumers to follow the million moments twitter handle, @millionmoments, and then tweet an original photo that encapsulates an emotive and engaging moment. There are a number of prizes to be won, including a Sony digital camera.

“We noticed that most imaging apps don’t cater for consumers that want to capture and view their own treasured moments in the best possible way. This competition should therefore gain the attention of consumers that are also likely to enjoy our million moments app,” said Masato Kuninori, senior application producer, business strategy division, Sony Digital Network Applications.

All the entries will be placed on Facebook, with cross promotion via both social media channels. The competition will run from 3-23 October. For full details and terms and conditions, please click here.
