Free 'Appafolio' portfolio app announced
A free portfolio app named 'Appafolio' has been launched for iPads and iPhones to make sharing photos, artwork, videos, product images easier.
Available on iTunes, the Treemo Labs app enables users to create a portfolio to share via iPads and iPhones, allowing them to upload and arrange both images and videos. Portfolio builders can also add text in addition to creating their own unique screens, titles and graphics.
'Appafolio' users can choose from pre-formatted templates, and photos and graphics are cached within the app. Videos are cached to the device for offline viewing, so an active Internet connection is not needed in order to view pictures and videos after they have been downloaded to the device.
Brent Brookler, CEO and founder at Treemo Labs, said: “Turning a printed portfolio or product brochure into an interactive app will eliminate printing and distribution costs, and enable companies to make updates on the fly.
"Instead of handing out hard copies at trade shows or on sales calls, you can just point people to your app and make a much better first impression.
“You are able to change your photos or videos anytime, or even the look and feel of the entire app, and the updates will occur automatically,” added Brookler. “The early feedback we’ve received from users has been extremely positive, so we’re eager to see how people use it and what new features they’d like us to add.”
There is no cost to create an account and build the first app. The Appafolio service is available now, visit www.appafolio.com to sign up or download the Appafolio app from the iTunes App Store.
