NCTJ to hold photography seminar
The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) will be holding a photography seminar this September at the Press Association in London with talks from key industry figures including Martin Keene, Group Picture Editor at Press Association, and Ian Wright, a former Sunday Times photographer who has worked all over the world photographing events, films and rock stars. There will also be information about training and qualifications from other speakers.
Ian Wright is also an alumnus from the very first NCTJ press photography course in 1964 and following the seminar there will be a reunion of students from this course, all of whom went on to have successful careers.
As well as hearing from the speakers, there will be the chance to learn about the different career options in photography and find out about training opportunities. The seminar will include a question and answer session with industry representatives and those involved in training.
Seminar date: Thursday 27 September, 3pm until 5.30pm.
