Now that we’re having some down time after the Olympics, Calumet and Canon are on the hunt for summer’s best sports photographs with big prize incentives on offer.

In the collaborative ‘Spirit of Competition’ promotion, photographers of all abilities are invited to submit up to three of their best sports photographs by 17 September to be in the chance of winning a share of prizes worth over £1,200.

Sian Hamer, Calumet Marketing Executive said: “We have teamed with Canon in this exceptional summer of sport in the UK – and interested photographers can enter online to have a chance of winning one of three fantastic prizes. They are: first prize: an EOS 600D Double Zoom lens kit worth £789.00, second prize: a popular Canon Powershot G12 camera worth £379 and third prize: a Selphy 810 compact printer worth £99.”

Images must be submitted to 2012@calumetphoto.co.uk and have to be no larger than 500KB, all entrants must include their name, address and tell us what equipment they used. Winners will chosen by top sports photographer John Sibley and will be announced the week commencing 24 September.
