Post Subject: Sigma DP1 or Ricoh GR DIGIAL II?It might be interesting to see a direct head to head comparison between these two. Having seen the Sigma DP1 not perform quite as well as we may have hoped, does the Ricoh GRDII blow it out of the water? Both cameras have some pretty serious high ISO noise problems - the GRDII at ISO1600 is fairly mosaic-like, but at least there's the option of shooting at such high sensitivity (unlike the DP1's ISO800 max). Also, the GRDII is much smaller than the chunky DP1. Sure, both are rather boxy, but in the class that each are trying to fill - surely smaller makes sense? They both manage to pack 28mm wide lenses, but the DP1 has a much larger sensor to cover (hence the size). For my money, it’s more about £400 for the GRDII rather than the £550 for the DP1. Your opinions...?
