Post Subject: Producing a CD of non-printable images

Hi. I am just starting out as a portrait photographer and one of my clients has asked if I can provide their proofs on CD. I have agreed to this but obviously don't just want to hand over all the digital images so that they are free to print them off for nothing. Please can somebody tell me how I can make the images read-only and non-printable?? Thanks

Hi to protect your images from copying you can take the following steps: (1) if you have adobe acrobat save the files as View only under the security settings. (2) Print " Proof do not copy" across the image set transparency of the print layer to about 25% and flatten the image and save the image at screen resolution say 800 x 600px. Remember to SAVE AS so you do not overwrite the original file.
