27-05-08: Epson Stylus Photo R2880

The Epson Stylus Photo R2880 is the latest in Epson’s professional A3+ printing technology – replacing the Stylus Photo R2400.
Utilising Epson’s advanced UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta pigment inks allows the Stylus Photo R2880 to deliver the highest quality prints. Using only 8 ink cartridges to achieve 85 percent of Pantone gamut provides a cost effective, high quality solution compared to other systems on the market. As is becoming more standard with Epson’s latest, the Stylus Photo R2880 also prints borderless edge to edge prints right up to A3+.
Other advances include a new Epson Micro Piezo print head which has a special ink-repelling coating to improve dot placement and print quality. A unique mode within the R2880’s print driver even enables users to have creative control over black and white tones as well as gradation – similar to selecting specific papers and chemicals in the conventional darkroom.
